large, young clownish goofball, one ear up one down (propeller ears), completely clueless, and very much making up for having being cooped up not getting out of a tiny space to run and play. He is really like a big playful lanky puppy dog. He races all over, dances, and then just plops down. Not happy being lifted off the ground and a bit hand shy and hesitant clearly having been mistreated, tho coming around very quickly, discovering those full face/ear rubs and forehead scratches are pretty good. Picked up as a stray, little is know about him, tho he was most likely raised in a back yard to be eaten, either escaped or was given to a neighborhood child til he got too big or needed to be neutered and tossed out. In the short time he has been with us since neuter surgery, we have learned he has not a mean bone in his body, loves all bunnies, and tries to find his way to them, loves to groom them and would likely not be happy as a single. Please understand we do mean another rabbit, not another species. This might be possible, but to see him with other rabbits, it looks very clearly like his sole desire. Whether that has to do with his young age, we don't know. In his first adoption interview (all tiny 2-2.5lb dwarfs, Ziggy just groomed away and lay down beside them thinking he'd died and gone to heaven. He is not dominant, and in fact it was hilarious to see a tiny bunny try to hump him to establish whose boss. It would be wonderful if he could be adopted while that is still the case to another lonely male or female who shows signs of wanting a friend (so he doesn't get hurt and become defensive) and he is still so youthfully entertaining. He is going to be a great fun bunny wanting to please everyone. Good litterbox habits too. $75 adoption donation applies to defray spay/neuter costs. MUST be paid at adoption.
